Professional experience

She graduated in law and notarial law at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. She passed the notarial exam in the Netherlands after almost 4 years of practice as a candidate civil law notary in the corporate department in one of the leading international law firms in Amsterdam. In 2004 she moved to Milan and gained experience as trademark consultant with an international firm specialized in IP. Later she attended a master course in Intellectual Property Law. She lived several years in Asia (Shanghai and Singapore) were she worked as a legal consultant and teaching assistant. Sigrid joined Bugnion in January 2019 and has been working as an intellectual property consultant, focusing on filing and prosecution of trademarks, trademark opposition and cancellation procedures, preparation of legal opinions and domain name protection.
